Peshtigo Float Trip
Show Date: April 17th & 18th, 2010
Location: Peshtigo River; Peshtigo, Wisconsin
Guide:  Pro Ice Guide Larry Smith [920-361-4996 | walleyeguide.com]

It is a gorgeous 65 degree day in April on the Pestigo River, the perfect day for a float trip.  This unique trip is a scenic and quiet slow drift down the river, all the while casting for walleyes and pike.  Also joining us on our trek down the river is charter captain Brian Settele.  A jig and a 5” GULP Alive jerk shad is the bait of choice.  Even more unexpected than the beautiful weather for this trip is the size and numbers of walleye that we are catching.  Just about every fish that we boat are of trophy caliber, and fighting these beasts is even more exciting in the fast current of the river.  This memorable day of fishing will not be soon forgotten, as it is one of the best walleye bites that we have ever found ourselves on.

Episode 17
Unbelievable Lake Michigan Perch
Show Date: April 24th & 25th, 2010
Location: Lake Michigan, Waukegan, Illinois
Guide:    Captain Tim Wojnicz [262-652-4459 | finquestfishing.com]

It’s one of our favorite trips of the year, and also one of the shortest, and that’s not a bad thing at all.  We are on Lake Michigan off of Waukegan, Illinois fishing for jumbo perch.  Our Captain; Tim Wojnicz, took us out last year and we had our limit of perch in just over an hour.  We have a few guests with us this year, and as soon as their lines are in the water, they are catching huge fish hand over fist.
We head out in the very early morning to set up our first drift.  We are a few miles from shore, and it’s pretty close to a glass calm day on the lake.
