Fishing Report for:
Duluth, MN - February, 2010
This report provided by Dustin Carlson of Northland Muskie Adventures Guide Service.

February Fishing Update for NE MN & Western WI including the Duluth area and Lake Vermilion.

The Walleyes are on the Bite here in Duluth.  All over the St. Louis River has been very productive with fish over 10lbs being reported. Use extreme caution while driving out on the St. Louis. It was a year ago this past weekend we lost our dear friend and fellow Adam Laporte to drowning on the St. Louis when his truck went through.  Many people don't realize the current in the river and need to use extreme caution when going into new areas.
Rattle traps and chubby darters have been key.
Many of the Lakes north of Duluth, have alot of snow on them and are difficult to drive on right now.  Good walleye fishing has also been reported on Vermilion along with the trout bite on Burntside in Ely has been good too.
Northern fishing on Pike lake in Duluth has been picking up too...

For the spring and summer Muskie bite I am getting the itch to get out.  Over the weekend, I Started to tie up a bunch of new bucktails and cant wait to through them soon.

Give me a call to book your muskie trip for this spring, summer, and fall.

Cast Farther Reel faster......
