Lake Michigan Coho

Show Date: July 4th & 5th, 2020

Location: Lake Michigan, Kenosha, Wisconsin

Guide: Charter Captains Al Johnson & Caleb Zorn [262-515-7944]

This week we’re out on Lake Michigan, fishing for Coho off the shores of Kenosha Wisconsin.  Captain Al Johnson, and Captain Caleb Zorn are taking us out on a big charter boat, so we can bring a few special guests.  Our good friend Jeff Kolodzinski has friends in town from Georgia, and wanted to show them how special Lake Michigan is.

We are trolling in about 50 feet of water, using down riggers, dodgers, and flies.  Throughout the year, you can catch king salmon, brown trout, lake trout, coho salmon, and rainbow trout.  During our trip the coho salmon are biting, and that’s a great thing, because they are some of the best tasting fish this lake has to offer.

Besides catching a bunch of fish, the great thing about getting out on a charter, is the relative low cost.  Getting a group together, and heading out on the lake is a great time, and you’ll likely take home a bunch of fish!

Hot Weather Fishing

Show Date: July 25th & 26th, 2020

Locations: Washington & Oneida Counties, Wisconsin

When hot weather rolls in, coupled with very little wind, finding fish can be a challenge. With surface temps in the upper 70’s, the walleye and bass typically go deep, so that’s where we concentrate our efforts.  We are also looking for weeds too, working the edge of these deep weed lines for both species.
