Red Wing, Minnesota; Mississippi River, Pool #4 - July 11th, 2011

Waters have been warm and high, which has made fishing pretty tough. The channel catfish have been biting in deep holes near the mouths of the river of Lake Pepin using stinkbait.  The best fishing for walleye is also in the mouths of the channels, trolling using crank baits.
