It’s finally time to get on some walleyes on the Bay of Green Bay! Capt. Brett Jolly is our guide, and he’s been fishing these waters just about his whole life. On this trip we use hair jigs, and lipless crankbaits, and when these fish hit, it is an absolute blast!

Episode 15

Wisconsin River Pontoon Walleyes

Show Date: April 12, 2025

Location: Wisconsin River, Stevens Point. WI

Guide: Matt Lazarski [715-498-2474]

We’re back in the pontoon boat with Matt and Jozef on the Wisconsin River! We love getting out with these guys, especially in this cold weather, because it’s nice and warm inside the pontoon. We hit a bunch of spots, and get on some good walleyes, mostly on hair jigs, and a few on lipless crankbaits like the Reef Runner Flash Shad.

Episode 16

Oconto Float Trip Walleyes

Show Date: April 19, 2025

Location: Oconto River, Oconto, Wisconsin

Guide: Tim Maher [(920) 604-4169]

We’re back in Tim’s stealthy raft, this time for the spring walleyes. We’re floating down the Oconto River, targeting walleyes that have just spawned, and are looking for an easy meal. We try lots of baits, and find the trusty Kalin’s Jerk Minnow to be the best during our trip.

This is a very unique trip, where you can get on fish, and rarely see another boat.

Episode 17

Mississippi River Panfish Jackpot

Show Date: April 26, 2025

Location: LaCrosse, Wisconsin

Guide: Vince Moldenhauer [(414) 791 5534 | greatriveroutdoorsllc.com]

We were on fish all day long with guide Vince Moldenhauer—and the season hasn’t even hit full swing yet! Targeting mainly perch and bluegill, we found both in abundance and barely had to move; we stayed in the same spot the entire day.

Live bait was the clear winner. If you didn’t have half a crawler on, you weren’t catching fish. We ran a mix of drop-shot rigs and bobbers, making it a perfect setup for beginners or kids looking to get into fishing—simple, active, and non-stop action.

Huge thanks to Vince for putting us on such a hot bite. A killer day on the water, and if this is just the warm-up, we’re in for an awesome season.
