This week is one for the record books — truly one of the best open-water walleye trips we've ever filmed, and maybe even ever seen. Guide Danny Herbeck brought us deep into remote Ontario to a lake he hadn’t fished yet this season — a lightly pressured gem with a bite he called “special,” and he wasn’t kidding. The walleyes were big, aggressive, and plentiful. Several personal bests were broken, and nearly every fish was photo-worthy. Danny’s son Dax joined us for the day, making it even more memorable. This was one of those rare trips where everything lined up — fish, friends, and a setting we’ll never forget.

Big Dave has been a longtime friend of the show, and it’s always a blast to share a boat with him. This time, we’re also joined by his good friend Dennis for a trip on the river. It took some hunting around, but once we found the school, the bite was on fire. A day full of laughs, good company, and plenty of fish made this one to remember.
