This weeks show proves that you don’t need to go great distances to find great fishing.  We are on Delavan Lake in Walworth County Wisconsin to enjoy some great fall fishing.  Our guide is bass expert Matt Bichanich, and he has perfected the art of drop-shot rigging for large mouth bass.  We are working deep water, looking for breaks and points.  The LMB’s are schooling up in the weeds, and our fineness presentation is working wonders to boat some hard fighting fish.

Fall Crappies
Show Date: September 18th & 20th, 2010
Location: Vilas County; Northern Wisconsin
Guide: Pro Guide Rob Manthei [715-477-2042 |]

A cool cloudy day in mid-September is a great day to target crappies.  While the northwoods is a great destination for fall walleyes and muskie, the crappies are bitting too.  Rob Manthei has us fishing shallow weed edges using crappie jigs and a small GULP! tail.  When we find the school, it’s lights-out crappie fishing, with bites coming every few minutes.  Later in the day, after we get our great meal of crappies, we check out the walleye bite using live bait.

Episode 39
Fun Fishin’
Show Date: September 25th & 26th, 2010
Location: Petenwell Flowage, Adams County, WI
Guide:  Pro Guide Larry Smith [920-361-4996 |]

It's an action-packed day on the petenwell flowage, as Larry Smith guides us to a pack of fish that never seem to stop biting. "You never know what will bite next" Larry says about the flowagre.

We really are’t targeting anything, because we don’t know what will bite.  We catch crappie, catfish, whitebass, and walleye all in the same spot.  Using one of his favorite river baits, the ZIP Lure, John connects with fish after fish.  Soon after Larry jumps ship from live baite, and the race is on.
