Thunderstorm Bass

Show Date: August 13th, 2022

Location: Delavan Lake, Delavan, Wisconsin

We’re very excited to finally be able to get out on the water with a new sponsor, Chris MacGillis of the MacGillis Wiemer Law Firm.  Chris is a really down to earth guy, who loves to fish, and had absolutely no issue with fishing in the rain at the start of the day. After the rain cleared off, we moved around, and got the bass to trigger on a variety of different presentations.

Episode 35

Fill The Cooler on Erie

Show Date: August 27th, 2022

Location: Lake Erie, Port Clinton, Ohio

Guide: Charter Captain Mike Patterson [419-308-6925 | mikessportfishing.com]

Accommodations: Hi-Way Bait & Tackle [hiwaybait.com | 419-734-3601]

A great way to fill a cooler with fish is to head over to Lake Erie, which is an absolute walleye factory.  Walleyes in Erie reach the 15” legal size limit in 18 months, and there are millions of them in the western basin alone. We’re here during the toughest time of the year, pulling crank-baits over deep water.  Capt. Mike needs to dial in the depth just right to get these suspended fish to bite, and when it’s on, it’s on!
