Episode 23

Hey Tex, Hold up that Crappie!

Show Date: June 5th, 2021

Location: Hayward, Wisconsin

We couldn’t resist coming back to Hayward this spring, this time to get after some crappies.  Pete told us that the bite was good, but none of us knew that it would end up being as good as it was.  Tex is along too, and even gets to take a few home, as long as Pete says it’s okay.

And the Winner Is….

Show Date: June 12th, 2021

Location: Chequamegon Bay, Ashland, Wisconsin

Guide: Josh Teigen [715-813-0575  | joshteigen.com ]

We’re so excited to get out on the water this week, because we’ve got the winners of the Fleet Farm “John Gillespie’s Fishing Getaway Giveaway” on the show with us.  Huge thanks to Fleet Farm, Humminbird, & MinnKota for participating, and also to everyone who entered - we appreciate you all watching!

We’re out on Chequamegon Bay, out of Ashland Wisconsin, fishing with pro guide Josh Teigen.  Josh says the bass are biting, but we could find walleye and pike too.

We love that we get to offer giveaways like this, keep an eye out for the next one!

Episode 25

Back up North with the Buddies

Show Date: June 19th, 2021

Location: Vilas County, Wisconsin

It is always a great time to get a group of great people together to get out on the lake and go fishing.

This week we are back in Vilas County for our annual “buddy outing.”  Unfortunately there is a bug hatch the morning of our first day of fishing, but just because the fishing could be difficult, it doesn’t mean that we won’t have a great time.

Episode 26

Northwoods Road Trip

Show Date: June 26th, 2021

Locations: Houghton-Hancock, Michigan & Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin

This week we’re on a road trip up north with a great friend of ours, Andy Wundrock, and his son Carson.  Andy runs Wisconsin Pharmacal, which makes Baitmate & Coleman Insect Repellents; Wisconsin Pharmacal is also this show's longest running sponsor.

We’re taking our friends on a road trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and then down to the Land O’ Lakes area.  During our trip we’re targeting both walleye and bass, and hoping that the mayfly hatch doesn’t derail our trip.
